FALL SEMESTER
SPRING SEMESTER
JUNIOR YEAR
- CE students register for CS 3991 – Jr Seminar
- EE students register for ECE 3900 – EE Jr Seminar
- Meet with Professor Verkler
- Fill out BS/MS Application
- Choose a faculty advisor
SENIOR YEAR
- EE students register for ECE 4900 – Senior Thesis I
- CE students register for CS/ECE 4710 – Senior project
- Undergraduate (+ graduate) coursework
- Complete the Supervisory Committee Form. See Professor Verkler if you need help finding more committee members.
- EE students register for ECE 4910 – Senior Thesis II
- Undergraduate (+ graduate) coursework
- Mid-program progress review (at 122 hours)
- Complete BS requirements
- Apply for graduate status
- After grad status approved, meet with the Graduate Student Coordinator – MEB 2266.
- Fill out the Request for Graduate Credit Form
GRADUATE YEAR
- Register for ECE 6900 – Graduate Seminar
- Attend ECE graduate orientation
- Graduate coursework
- Enroll in 9 to 12 Credits of Graduate courses
- Apply for Graduate Degree
- Register ECE 6910 Graduate Seminar
- Enroll in 9 to 12 Credits of Graduate courses
- Apply for graduation
- Coursework option: Complete the Final Exam Course Designation Form
- Project option: Complete the ECE 6950 Final Exam Verification Form
- Thesis option: Complete Thesis Forms
