Teaching Labs overview

Laboratory experience is a vital part of an electrical engineering student's education. The department has received several significant grants from the state of Utah and private industry for acquiring instructional laboratory equipment. Consequently, our laboratories are equipped to meet or exceed the needs of our students. These laboratory facilities, provide an imaginative and exciting complement to classroom instruction. The laboratories described below illustrate our excellent facilities.

	Analog Lab MEB 2365 For classes in analog devices and circuits, and control systems.
	Digital/Systems Lab MEB 2265 For classes in digital devices and circuits, and embedded system development.
	Microwave Devices Lab MEB 2275 For classes in microwave device design and characterization, microstripline circuits, and microwave circuit analysis.
	ECE Computer Lab MEB 2555 For classes with Matlab, Digital Signal Processing(DSP), and Communications. This lab is also open to ECE students for general computing needs.
	Anechoic chamber MEB 2420 For classes in Electromagnetics and Antennas.
	Student/TA Study Room MEB 2350 For all ECE Engineering Students/TA to have an area to study and relax.
