Here's a map to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The departmental office is located in the Merrill Engineering Building (MEB), room 3280. Metered visitor parking is available to the north of the Merrill Engineering building. The most convenient parking for guests to EMRO, EMRL and HEDCO is in the visitor lot (fee) south and east of HEDCO, near the Student Union Building (not on the map).

Salt Lake is laid out on a rectangular grid. Each street is named by the coordinates north-south and east-west from the central coordinate at the intersection of Main and South Temple streets. For example, 6th South is 6 blocks south of South Temple St. Some traffic signs give the coordinate number as the street name (600 South).

Directions from the Salt Lake Airport to Merrill Engineering Building

Exit the airport, entering I-80 eastbound (left lanes as you exit the airport).
I-80 to 6th South exit (second lane from right as you approach the I-15 interchange).
600 South is a one-way street heading east. Follow it about 10 blocks to 7th East.
Left on 7th East. Head 6 blocks to 1st South.
Right on 1st South. The campus boundary begins at University Avenue.
Continue uphill as the road turns to the left and then curves to the right. It changes names to North Campus Drive.
Turn right onto Central Campus Drive (right t-intersection)
Turn right into the Merrill Engineering Building parking lot. Metered parking is in the row closest to the building.

Directions from Park City and I-80 East of
Salt Lake City to Merrill Engineering Building

I-80 West to 13th East exit.
Turn right on 13th East. Head north about 20 blocks to 1st South.
Right on 1st South. The campus boundary begins at University Avenue.
Continue uphill as the road turns to the left and then curves to the right. It changes names to North Campus Drive.
Turn right onto Central Campus Drive (right t-intersection).
Turn right into the Merrill Engineering Building parking lot. Metered parking is in the row closest to the building.
