Prof. Cynthia Furse Honored with Rigas Award
For excellence in teaching, developing educational technology, and encouraging women in electrical and computer engineering.
ECE Department Professor Cynthia Furse has been selected to receive the 2009 Harriett V. Rigas Award of the IEEE Education Society. She will be honored at the Frontiers in Education Conference in San Antonio on October 18-21, 2009. The Rigas Award recognized excellence in teaching, the development of educational technology which enhances student learning, and active participation in encouraging increased participation of women in electrical and computer engineering.
