| Homework: | Homework will be assigned roughly on a weekly basis. Assignments are due one week after the assignment date. Extensive use of numerical simulation will be made (MATLAB). |
| Labs: | A schedule will be arranged for two labs. One will be testing of waveguide devices. The other will be based upon photonic device simulation software package. |
| Exams: | There will be two exams during the semester and a final. |
