About the CLEAR Engineering Program

What we can do for your public speaking events?

  • Help you begin your presentation
  • Help you refine your presentation
  • Video record your practice presentation and go over it with you before “game day”
  • Video record your formal/ actual presentation and review your performance

CLEAR can help turn you from this type of communicator….

                       or

Brilliant yet unintelligible Professor Fink of the TV show The Simpsons              Ben Stein – Boring Teacher from the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Into this type….

                             or

Bill Nye the Science Guy                                              Mr. Wizard – the guru of introducing complex science concepts to young minds

All are welcome and encouraged to get individual advice and assistance from me or other CLEAR staff members.  I sincerely enjoy this type of work and will help you start or refine your presentations.

However, when I am not available this set of resources should steer you in the best direction to developing superior presentations.  The goal was to provide quick, easy, and painless pointers for speaking.  The order should take you from start to finish of developing an engineering presentation.

Note: most people think they are good presenters but few actually are effective and all of us can improve.  Instead of letting your ego talk you into a bad presentation skim the information you think you know and brush up on newer areas of public speaking.
