Math is just one of many tools that engineers use, but you don’t have to be the top math whiz in your school. We learn math with our friends here. Math is just a step-by-step process. First you learn the beginning stuff, then a little more and a little more until you “get” it! The new Warnock Engineering Building has lots of bright, clean, comfortable space to study with one friend or many. The College of Engineering has a new tutoring center to help you out, and the math department also has tutors for you. Every class you will take at the university has a professor to help you learn (and professors have office hours for you to ask questions one-on-one) plus teaching assistants (students who took the class not long ago and remember the gotchas!). Math is a great tool to help you design things, but you don’t have to be an Einstein to be an awesome engineer.
