3nd Annual High School Youth Summit on
Improving the Quality of Life
June 23-25, 2009
Quality of Life is
an important topic when examining energy issues, medical care, transportation,
or day to day living and poses many critical challenges for Utah and the
World. Join us along with other high
school students, researchers and students from the University of Utah College
of Engineering, and Utah business leaders for our 3rd Annual Youth
Summit. Learn more about how this
important topic impacts many engineering, medical, and political decisions and
leads to many of the innovations that we need and enjoy in our daily lives. We
encourage you to participate by bringing your innovative ideas to discuss with
others in this important summit. Find out about important projects in Chemical,
Electrical, Civil and Environmental, Computer, Mechanical, Materials and Bioengineering
departments and get a chance to talk with faculty and students.
The Utah Youth
Summit will be the voice of Utah’s Youth in providing a recommendation to
Governor Herbert and the State of Utah about where YOU think effort should be
put into Improving the Quality of life by the state government. YOUR ideas, thoughts, challenges, and
opinions matter. Join us to make a
difference.
