I have been working in Wireless LAN group of Broadcom cooperation since 2008. In Broadcom, I am a member of system architecture group where I work on system design, implementation,and bring up of wireless LAN chipsets. Furthermore, I work on 802.11 standards (802.11ac and 802.11ah) and I am an IEEE 802.11 voting member.

I was listed in 2010 Marquis who is who in science and engineering.

In September 2009, I defended my PhD dissertation on Filterbank Multicarrier for Cognitve Radios. I was a PhD student at the University of Utah from 2005 to 2009. I was a member of the Communications Lab and my Ph.D. advisor was Professor Behrouz Farhang-Boroujeny

During my Ph.D., I worked on preamble design and syncronization techniques and MAC/Physical cross layer optimization of filter bank based cognitive radio systems.  I also worked on Markov chain Monte-Carlo (MCMC) techniques and its application to detection of MIMO and CDMA systems. The other topic I did some research on was medium access techniques in CDMA network and its performance comparison with IEEE 802.11.

I was the team leader and active team member of University of Utah Smart Radio Challenge team. The team developed a Software Defined Radio for spectrum access in the disaster scenario.
