Mastrangelo Lab of Interdisciplinary Research and Development

Welcome to the research lab of Carlos Mastrangelo at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the University of Utah. Here, a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving is strongly encouraged and pursued. The research areas of focus include development of novel, portable ultra-low power sensing mechanisms for environmental analysis and plant health monitoring ; innovative adaptive optical systems for presbyopia correction using smart eye-glasses and smart contact-lenses and new techniques for energy harvesting.
