TERM PROJECT
The final project is an important part of this course. Students must take up a research topic in the field of Electromagnetics and do simulation and analysis leading to a conference/ Journal paper.
The Term Project will be graded in 3 parts. It will be 45 % of your total grade. There will be 500 points for the project. The break up is given below.
Stage 1: A two page write up for the project is due on October 1st 2010 by 5:00 pm. The write-up should include a brief explanation of the topic you have chosen as an individual/Group. ( 50 points)
The writeup must include the following:
a) Topic chosen
b) The problem statement
c) The current state of the art
d) Proposed technique
e) Final deliverables
Stage 2: Intermediate Review ( November 12th 2010) (150 points)
A one on one review with the instructor explaining the following
a) Results achieved
b) Future deliverables
