IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Permission codes will be only be granted to students who are approved by the department.
- Undergraduate students should meet pre- and coreqs and must NOT be on the ECE Monitoring List. For an exception, students must receive instructor consent and upload proof as a supporting document. Undergraduate students who do not meet these requirements may be un-enrolled at the start of term.
- Graduate students must be accepted to the graduate program and/or have received verified special permission from the faculty.
- Non-matriculated students should have met and approved courses with academic advisors prior to requesting a code
If the section a student is requesting is full, a permission code will NOT be granted. Students should contact an academic advisor to be added to the course wait list.
Permission code requests that have been approved will be released to your student email (UMail)
Anticipate 48 hours or at least 2 business days to receive a reply for a permission code. No personal follow-up is necessary after a request has been made unless 7 business days have passed.
Requests should be made whenever possible prior to the first day of class. Timely responses to requests received after that date cannot be guaranteed.
