REGISTRATION FAQ
- Why can’t I enroll in any courses? Make sure have the Registrar’s Office change your campus from Utah Asia Campus -> Main Campus SLC
- I meet the pre-reqs for the ECE courses, why can’t I enroll? We understand there is a backend issue going on for students for enrollment this semester. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you can submit a permission code request to enroll in the courses.
- How long until my permission code gets approved? Anticipate 48 hours or at least 2 business days to receive a reply for a permission code. No personal follow-up is necessary after a request has been made unless 7 business days have passed. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a high volume of permission code requests. We will process your request as soon as we can and your patience is much appreciated during this busy time.
- Can I enroll in PHYS 2225 even if I’m missing the PHYS 2215 pre-req? Yes! Please submit a permission code request to the Physics Department. In the request, please state that you are an ECE student and have taken our Matlab (ECE 1050) course and/or programming.
ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR SUCCESS
- If you have questions about the courses or wish to see a syllabus in advance, email the an academic advisor to see if they are available for your desired course.
- Feel free to register for a variety of courses, look at the Canvas pages when they open the first day of term, attend/meet the professor, and then decide which courses to keep or drop by the term add/drop deadline at no cost to you!
- Bookmark the academic calendar and be aware of the tuition deadline (same as the add/drop)
- Some textbooks will be on Canvas, others you can buy at the Campus Store.
